Mindful Life in Motion
Chrissy is the energy behind Mindful Motion. Her training dove into Alignment Principles, Anatomy & The Body Systems, Nutrition, Meditation, Breathwork, Pre/Postnatal, Restorative, Yin, Trauma-Sensitivities, Neuroscience, Mindfulness, among several subjects addressing the release of habits and addictions to align in a Holistic Wellness Practice. Chrissy has completed Continued Education for Hands on Assist, Chair Yoga, as well as Reflexology Training. Also earning an Effective Teacher Training Certification that qualifies her to write and carry out curriculum as a substitute teacher within our school system.
Chrissy has furthered her experience by completing a 50 hour Mastery Program through Duke Integrative Medicine. She had the pleasure of studying under Carol Krucoff, C-IAYT, E-RYT and Kimberly Carson, MPH, C-IAYT, E-RYT along with several Duke Physicians and Medical Experts. Program developers provided hands-on training in safely modifying postures especially for those new to yoga. Faculty lecturers covered health conditions such as heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia and more. Special issues related to students were explored, including pain management and fall prevention. Qualifying Chrissy to register through Yoga 4 Seniors.
Additionally Chrissy attained Certification of Completion to expand and learn about Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Professional Life Coaching, and Ayurveda Basics. She has a firm belief that behind any empowered person, there is or have been a Life Coach and/or Therapist alternately supporting core values, vision and goals along the way.
With such opportunities to further her experience in the field of Holistic Wellness, Chrissy is grateful for the hundreds of hands on teaching hours, which accumulate as she pursues relationship within our community and beyond as she travels. She has had the pleasure of teaching in Studio, Gym, Chiropractic, Therapy, in-home, business, and a Community Arts Center and is thankful for each connection. This variety of experiences has sharpened her knowledge, that bud into the development of business Mindful Motion LLC.
